If you would like your art, writing, film or music to be featured in STITCHED, please forward the appropriate links or files to the address below. Include your answers to the STITCHED Dossier (copy and paste from below) as well as any other information about yourself that you'd like mentioned. We cannot promise that all submissions will be featured, but we do promise to reply with a reason why if it is not.
ALL ART Submissions
There is no limitation to the medium accepted. Photographs of sculptured art is accepted. Anyone submitting Videos of performance art or Instillations should look at the notations for FILM Submissions below. Art of a Mature content is accepted. We are open-minded and understand the power of the artistic voice.
WRITTEN Submissions
Please submit your writing in .txt, .rtf, or .doc format. We cannot post PDFs, so please do not send them. If you are overly concerned about theft, the internet is not the best forum for you to present your work. If your work includes illustrations, please make any notes as to where within the story/poem/lyric/script we should post them. If you do not, it will be left to our discretion. Mature content is accepted, however please be conscious of its use. Vulgarity for vulgarity's sake is not only bad writing, its a bad read.
MUSIC and FILM Submissions
Please note that we are not technological wunderkinds. Any streaming media you have must be play-ready. We must be able to just throw up a url or an easily embedded file. If it gets too complicated or difficult - this might result in no more than a link to your own page being presented on STITCHED. Film of a Mature content is accepted. We are talking R-rated and lower.IF/WHEN any anthalogies are collected for print, we would be happy to advertise your audio/film product within.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: As stated above, Mature Content IS accepted. We are far from conservative people. HOWEVER, anything that WE deem to be Pornographic or hate-propoganda will be refused. It is our magazine. There is no arguing the point. Please take it elsewhere.
