What a busy little hive we've been lately...and my what sweet honey we have for you. While the summer sun has begun to dip and the days are cooling toward autumn (I know, dare I say it...?), there has been a lot of commotion about. Most of it has been on the Threadhoppers' end of things but we've certainly not forgotten our STITCHY Friends! In point of fact-- we've managed to re-recruit an old familiar friend.
Welcome Ash Isengrim to our staff!! You'll see a few articles from him cropping up in the nigh future; and we simply couldn't be more excited! Ash has a unique flair about him that is both timeless and fresh. (Ya, figure that one out!) Look for Ash's article on Philadelphia Actress Chrissie Harms by the end of the month -- Just in time for everyone to go see her perform at this year's Philly Fringe Fest, Aug 29th - Sept 13th!!
Our most recent article in the magazine in on a photo series done by Madrid Photographer Robert Smith. The series "ThIrTeeN KillErs" is a remarkable collection of images that bear a disquieting air to them as each one portrays one of thirteen American Serial Killers. Squeamish rest tight, his images are neither violent nor gory. Smith has done a magnificent job of conjuring the psychological essence of each of these unfathomable men.

PLEASE stop by the Threadhopper's Website to see all the HUGE changes that have been made there. And be sure to check out the ARCHIVES page were you'll find short stories, book excerpts and -most exciting- a new serial fiction release, "OAKFALLOW"!! This horror/suspense thriller will eventually be released for download and print purchase, but for now check it out a chapter at a time on the THP site!! Plus keep up with our PORTFOLIO page for all the latest releases and "coming soon's"!

Although its a little delayed, an article has been posted about Musician and Songwriter Phil Roy. The concert reviewed was on June 14th, but in the interest of letting our first Feature get a fair exhibit, we held off to post. Phil Roy is a Philadelphian guitarist and songwriter who is far more established than one might think, and yet not as well known as he should be!! You'll be surprised at how many amazing people he has written for, and may just find you know more of his music than you thought- I sure was!!
We urge you to venture on over and have a taste. This man's voice is like warm dark chocolate with rich red wine...mmmmm...my favorite.
...Melt.

STITCHED Magazine is proud to present the first Artist Feature of our new incarnation! Please rush to our Magazine page and take a gander at the sensual and sophisticated photography of French Photographer Olivier Daaram. A seasoned photographer of more than twenty-five years, Olivier has yet to receive the wide-spread recognition he deserves. We hope to help change that, and to give him one more boost into the spotlight that surely bears his name.
Please welcome Olivier Daaram to the STITCHED Family of Artists and be sure to leave your thoughts. We encourage diverse expression and feedback on all our features.

Some of you may recall the Virgin Release of STITCHED Magazine. STITCHED is still a pet project that we never really wanted to see end, but our original inception was more ambitious than we were prepared to handle on our own. The first...er...only issue is still available for sale in print or for download: HERE.
Rather than push to put together a quarterly print magazine, we've established a blog for STITCHED that will run articles and feature art just like the magazine did, but without the pressure of deadlines. We've only just set it up, but there is an RSS feature so, go to the site, snag that RSS and you can stay up to date with STITCHED.
If you'd like us to feature you on the blog, send us an email and we'll see what we can do! Perhaps as time goes on, we can venture into another print issue....maybe a "Best of STITCHED" or something. We aren't tech-geniuses here, so after several failed attempts to get a blog running on our own site, we gave up and went for easy...But in the interest of keeping STITCHED alive...we HAVE brought it back!
It's alive! It's ALIVE!!! IT'S ALIVE MUAH HA HA HA HAAAAAA!!!
*cough* Sorry....
